Numbered labels are required for all items with a value of $5,000 or more (numbered asset labels can also be used for sensitive items but they are not required). These items have a normal useful life expectancy exceeding two years and maintain identity while in use. 10 labels per sheet. Numbers are logged, and info is subject to review by state auditors.
